They serve in the Green 1st, 8th, 10th and 12th Air Forces. Many types of missions are flown including fighter sweeps, combat air patrols and escorting attack, recon and other aircraft. Fighter pilots get air medals based on kills or number of missions. Where more than one aircraft type is shown the last type is current. Because there are so many pilots flying fighter missions I have broken the list up into three pages alphabetically.
